The staff at The Gallivant Times Square were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay feel special. Our spacious Junior Penthouse was perfect for our family, with comfortable beds and a cozy atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a short walk to many attractions, which made exploring the city a breeze!
The balcony was not accessible during our stay, which was disappointing.

The Gallivant is strategically located, just steps away from Times Square, making it an ideal base for business travelers. The room was well-sized, featuring comfortable beds and a coffee machine for convenient refreshment. The staff was efficient in assisting with my needs during my stay, particularly with business-related inquiries.
The heating system in the room was problematic, providing inconsistent warmth.

The decor was charmingly modern, and I appreciated the warm hospitality. The staff was exceptionally willing to assist with directions and recommendations, which made navigating the city much easier for me as a senior traveler.
Elevator service could be improved for elderly guests.

Great Location and Comfortable Beds
My stay was quite pleasant, especially due to the excellent location just steps from Times Square, which made exploring the city a breeze. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after long days out. the air conditioning was quite loud and could use some maintenance. a solid choice if you're looking for convenience in the heart of the city.

Excellent proximity for theater access, modern decor features, convenient access to subway stations
The rooms are cramped! ! Noise from the street is unbearable! Elevators are painfully slow! Could use a serious update in maintenance!

The location was AMAZING, super close to Times Square! 🗽 The room was tiny and the elevator situation was frustrating, but honestly, I just needed a place to crash after exploring!

The room was cozy, but the bathroom lacked basic amenities.

missingWrote a review on Oct 03authentic italian pizzaprime locationvibrant dining scenerude staffold and dirty hotel
The food scene near The Gallivant is a total gem! Seriously, I devoured a slice of authentic Italian pizza at La Masseria, and it was like being transported to Napoli. Not to mention the fantastic vibe at Carmine's Italian Restaurant – you'll be in Italian heaven. Plus, the location is prime for hitting the subway and strolling around Times Square.
The staff were real pieces of work, offering zero help! ' It’s an old joint, and while the grunge can add charm, my room’s dirty window and lackluster minibar left a lot to be desired.

The room was clean but really small, which made it feel cramped. The bed itself was comfy, but the bathroom was tight and awkward. I had to navigate around the shower with poor drainage. Plus, the elevators took forever, especially when trying to get to breakfast. It was a hassle, but I guess that's NYC living for you.

Loved the prime location! My deluxe queen room was tiny but had a fab TV and nice toiletries. Perfect for crashing after a day of sightseeing!
Oh darling, waiting ages for the elevator while my hair's a hot mess was not fun! And don’t even get me started on the noise. I swear I heard my neighbor's thoughts!

If you're a veggie lover, you'd totally vibe with the local dining scene! You can’t miss Carmine's for family-style Italian that'll have you dreaming of Italy. Plus, the closeness to legends like Hard Rock Cafe makes it a foodie's playground. The only good thing about this place is its prime location!
But let’s get real, the room was super small, making tidiness a challenge. It's tough not to soak the floor when you shower. And about laundry? Don’t expect a helping hand from housekeepers—they’re too busy! One front desk dude really had an attitude. Not the hospitality welcome I anticipated.
